Samantha Vega started with a pretty simple complaint: most bags either look great for a season and fall apart, or they cost more than your rent and still don’t have a pocket for your keys. We wanted something in between — a bag that’s built well enough to earn its price, without the markup that comes from a logo or a celebrity ad campaign. So that’s what we make. No seasonal “drops,” no limited editions designed to sell out on purpose — just bags meant to be carried every day, for a long time, without falling apart on you.
Every design goes through the same boring but necessary process: we load it up, sling it on a shoulder, throw it in the back of a car, leave it out in the rain, and see what breaks first. If the zipper sticks after a month or the strap stitching gives out under a laptop and a water bottle, it goes back to the drawing board. That’s where most of our decisions come from — not trend reports, but actual use. Real leather where it matters, honest synthetics where they make sense, hardware that doesn’t tarnish the first time it gets wet.
We’re not trying to convince you that a bag will change your life — it’s a bag. What we’re aiming for is the kind of thing you stop noticing because it just works: it holds what you need, survives your commute, and still looks decent two years in.
